  • honey production - pastoral 40-70 kg - inpatient 25-30 kg

 
Other Features:

  • is less prone to pilferage;
  • swarming instinct is moderate;
  • typically grows 30-50 queens during swarming and only exceptional over 100;
  • enhanced predisposition to  the blocking of the large honey crops, because of this is more difficult to maintain the horizontal hives;
  • poor proclivity for the propolizare.
